Kapanidungan sa Kalusugan

THROUGH the Project, HDI initiated the transformation of the health system of the province of Batanes.

The Project activated and improved the structure of the Provincial Health Board and the local health boards—the supervisory bodies of the provincial and local health systems. The six local health boards were restructured to include representatives from their respective BHW organizations, and the Provincial Health Board was restructured to include the mayors and the BHW Federation President. The Project improved the management of the provincial and municipal health systems by the institutionalization of the three functions of health systems management, that is, health planning, monitoring, and evaluation.
